Summer 2008: Major League Baseball Game #4

One Week after my Tribe game my best friend Joe and I travelled to St. Louis (arch photos in another post soon) to take in a Cardinals game thanks to my friend from work Liz securing us her Uncle's season tickets.

It was hot and sunny again...and thanks to Joe's patience, I was able to snap over 100 pictures of the stadium before and during the game. Of course, only about 10-20 came out really well - and a few of those are posted here. I managed to get myself into the club seats in the 7th inning by just walking right past the door guard like I belonged there. Of course, Joe hesitated and didn't get through. So...I watch the last couple of innings from the really really good seats right behind home plate while Joe didn't. I'm such a great friend. :(

More from St Louis soon...including a very interesting tram ride to the top of the Gateway Arch.

Storm Shelter signs everywhere! Busch Stadium is the only StormReady MLB Park in the U.S.

The Busch Stadium main gate...and that other St. Louis landmark

Joe taking in the view...and patiently waiting for me to finish dorkingly taking photos of everything

If someone hits a homer into Big Mac Land (2nd deck left field) during the game, everyone gets a free Big Mac. Someone Did!!!

My first view of the stadium from my unpaid for club seat
